Ibex Motivation – Online Group Participation Policy Welcome to the Ibex Motivation Men’s Self-Discovery Program. This group is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where participants can explore personal growth, emotional wellbeing, purpose, and motivation. To maintain the integrity and safety of the group, all participants are expected to follow the guidelines below. Confidentiality is essential in creating a safe and trusting group environment. Participants agree to: Respect the privacy of all group members Not share personal stories, names, discussions, screenshots, or identifying information outside the group Keep all discussions within the group confidential Facilitators will also maintain confidentiality except where required by law, including: Risk of harm to self or others Concerns relating to abuse or neglect Legal obligations or court orders Please note:Online platforms cannot guarantee absolute privacy or security. Participants are encouraged to attend sessions in a private environment where possible. 2. Respectful Communication All participants are expected to contribute respectfully. Participants agree to: Treat others with dignity and respect Allow others to speak without interruption Respect differing opinions, backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences Avoid abusive, discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate language Provide feedback constructively and respectfully Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. 3. Participation Expectations Participants are encouraged to: Attend sessions on time Engage honestly and respectfully Participate at their own comfort level Take responsibility for their own wellbeing during discussions Participants may choose to “pass” on activities or discussions if they feel uncomfortable. 4. Emotional Safety This group may involve discussions around emotions, relationships, life challenges, and personal experiences. Participants acknowledge: The program is educational and supportive in nature The group is not a crisis service Participants remain responsible for seeking individual professional support where required If participants experience significant distress or crisis, they are encouraged to contact: Their GP Mental health professional Local acute mental health service Emergency services (000) if immediate risk is present 5. Online Conduct To support a positive online environment: Attend sessions from a quiet and appropriate.
